Re: Cadwell Park
No can do Skittle cos off to see daughter number one that weekend with Yorkie, daughter number 2 and my gawguss grandson. We won't be back home till some time Sunday. That's why Yorkie posted Cadwell for the Monday only.
Some of the other guys may fancy the ride out though. Stick that up as a separate ride out post once you've decided your dates and see who's in.

Re: Cadwell Park
Chocmintz, Yorkie, Stonesie n Serband. anyone else?????
Looks like it takes 1.5hrs so lets meet at Ferrybridge services on M62/A1 at 7.45 to leave at 8.00 prompt. Full tank and empty bladder. Then I might just make it without stopping for another pee.
If anyone else wants to tag along feel free but post on here or FB so that we dont leave you behind.

Well the forecast looks cloudy, but dry at least, so I should be gracing Tas Relentless Suzuki's hospitality suite.

Well as things stand I've got four hospitality passes and only three people going. Can't give it to who I'd really like to. Looks like someone on the gate's going to be lucky.

Oh bugger - if we'd have known coulda saved us £25 quid each and given you some money towards em. Never mind - maybe someone else will take em off your hands before tomorrow

There is only one spare, but i have no idea what time we're even going. Tbh, the closer it gets the less bothered I am about going. I can't take who I want to, might just give the tickets to my friend and her fella in the morning and give it a miss myself.

No, lol, I don't want to have to set off at 4am...
Going with a friend who has a Street R too, and her fella. Looks like the other ticket will goto waste. Can't give it to the person I'd like to, and didn't have anyone else to come with us to give it to.

Re: Cadwell Park
What a cracking day, thanks to Serband, Birdman,StevieBee,Stonesie n not forgetting Chocmintz.
Met at Ferrybridge at 8.00 n got to Cadwell at 9.15. Non stop action all day. 2 BSB superbike races n lots o other classes.
Weather ws perfect for standing around in bike gear.
Unfortunately 1 fatality which we didn't see but it delayed everything by 1hr and meant scratchin the Harley Davidson race.
Cheers guys must do it again

Re: Cadwell Park
Had an absolutely fab day at Cadwell today. Didn't think I'd enjoy the superbike races that much but some of em gave me goosebumps! Those lads on the 125's were only 13-16 and boy could they ride
As for me - I managed to show the guys a thing or two about staying in front ,,, ,,, ,,, TWICE!!!!!!!!!!
Even if it was only to the front of the queue for the viewing point
for a brill day everyone and to you all
Also - HUGE respect to the guy who died on the track today - may he forever ride shiny side up

Re: Cadwell Park
What a shit day. 110 miles of shit roads to see two 600 races then get frozen doing the same painful tedious 110 miles back, with the added bonus of getting rained on for a couple of miles, so it's just taken me 5 hours to clean my bike. At least I managed to sell the other ticket on teh gate to cover maybe two thirds of my petrol money, but all things considered, I wish I'd stayed at home.

Sounds like that was a GOOD day for you Ade - at least you were out on your bike
The races were awesome and especially the young lads on the 125's - they had more confidence than most of us put together. Felt really sorry for the young lad who's chain snapped on his last lap when he'd been second most of the way round.
PLUS - we had some very good company too and a right laugh to boot. Expensivie though - will take our own next time

I would much rather have been in my car. Don't know about the racing, I saw fuck all of it.
