I have planned to go but I have a feeling it will have lost some of its character . on a closed circuit it wont have that free for all appeal .

So, not only have they moved it to the arse end of nowhere, they're now charging for entry? Doesn't sound like a recipe for success to me.

Re: Thundersprint 2013
would be a good ride down but not sure what it will be like on a closed circuit etc... I liked the wandering around town etc.. And didn't realise they were charging entry now. I knew they were charging for camping, but I can't do the camping..

It is a shame that the town has lost it - however, I still fancy the ride down to check the new venue out. Won't discount it till we've checked it first

Aye, hardly worth going by bike - cheaper and more comfortable to share a car. There's some great roads across North Wales, if you want to make it more interesting once you get to Welshland, but it'd be a long day to get there and back taking in decent roads, and no doubt the rabidly anti bike North Wales police will be out in force with their concealed cameras, random section 59s etc.

I'm liking your thinking Gazwald.
There's some fantastic roads in Wales too.
I wouldn't mind seeing this place some time either. About 90 miles from Anglesey.

Found this place today. Looks alright. I'm sure you could get cheaper around there but looks nice.
