Biking's a long way off yet. Gonna have to get a fair bit warmer before I even think about going out into the garage and pulling it apart, never mind riding it. At least a couple of months away yet, there's more salt out there than in a Cheshire salt mine.

Managed a couple of hours on the bike on Sunday. Cold but the heated grips kept the hands nice and warm. Washed the bike before Sunday lunch with the family, then basically sofa rest of the day slowly drinking into the evening.....

Re: What ya done this weekend?
went up Pen-Y-Ghent with my lad on Saturday, weird weather, raining when we set off, sunny when we started the walk, halfway up it snowed, like a blizzard I m not kidding! then it got a bit foggy and then very windy which blew away all the snow and fog, all this in the space of an hour and half.
Sunday fitted some little LEDs to shine on the New rear shock, just summat to mess about with as I wasnt gonna ride this weekend.
Forecast good for later this week so probably get out and about hopefully

Sounds like you had ALL the weathers there Daz
Got daughter number one coming up this week so reckon that will count out this coming weekend but hoping the weather is gonna pick up enough beyond that so I can get Ethel out of hibernation at last.
Glad those of you who managed to get out had a decent blast - even though it WAS cold and bring on the sunshine so we can ALL ride [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: What ya done this weekend?
I think I gave it to my wife, not strictly man-flu I guess, and now she's feeling crap.
It's one of those strange situations where I don't want her to be sick, but if she is, I don't want it to be a mild one day thing so she thinks I'm a wuss for complaining, she has to get it properly...
Bad husband?

Re: What ya done this weekend?
Last weekend? Working both days
But I did find time to get the bike out last week after giving it a full service and a new IAT sensor, management light came on so I took it to Triumph and they put it on the computer for half the usual price (the sensor was from them and they thought that could have done it) They couldn't find the problem so off I went, before I got home it was back on so I took it back, this time they found the tip-over sensor was faulty and tried to sell me a pressure sensor
Back home I took my tip-over sensor out and at first it didn't rattle (it should) then it fell apart... Ebay... £10 delivered for a used one, this weekend I can get out there and test it
Anything happening on Sunday?

Couldn't get tune ECU to work properly so I tried the scanner I got for the car but wasn't sure it was telling me the right code.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Turns out it was so I will use it in future for basic code clearing and it can also show me what things are doing 'live'
Fred Hill run? No thanks...

Not a clue, but the pc has been completely wiped, upgraded, and re-installed since as it died a death.
Might try it again but i'm not in a hurry to take the pc and all its bits out to the garage when my hand-held reader can do most things apart from loading maps.

If I get by bike sorted in time to actually get out on Sunday then yes! Could do with a decent ride, ain't been on it since beginning of Jan! I don't know how people do it locking it away for half the year.
